This was actually written on Saturday November 29th.

Wow, what a week!! We arrived home last night about 2:30 a.m., it was an awesome week, one that will never be matched. It was so much fun but we are exhausted. We tried to fit everything we possibly could into one week and we still didn't see everything. We drove to Las Vegas on Friday night and spent the night at Planet Hollywood and met up with Scott for dinner at PF Changs. We flew out of Vegas at 11:45 a.m. and had a layover in Denver and then flew to Orlando. We didn't arrive in Orlando until 10:30 p.m. We were met at the airport by a represenative from "Give Kids the World Village". She took us to get our rental car and then we were off to the village. We weren't sure what to expect but when we got there they were waiting for us and got us all checked in to our villa. Our villa had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, and kitchen. We got up Sunday morning and headed to Disney World, we went to Magic Kingdom. With our park hopper passes we were also given a pass that would get us on all the rides without having to wait in line. We will never be able to go back because we were spoiled and got right in to everything. Even when there was a meet the character we just had to walk to the attendant and they would put us at the front of the line!! I think the longest we waited in line was 10 minutes. We spent the whole day at the Magic Kingdom and saw the electric light parades and also the fireworks, they were awesome. The time change was killing us because the kids would still be ready to go at 11:00 p.m. because it was only 9:00 utah time and then when the mornings came it, we were getting up 2 hours earlier. We never really adjusted. On Monday we headed to Sea World, we had a hard time getting out of the village in the mornings because of all the fun things to do. There was a carousel (which Kody calls a Serrus Wheel, miniature golf, pool table, video games, ice cream palace, swimming pools,
driving miniature boats, train rides, movie theater, miniature train set that was the most amazing model train set I have ever seen.) So, by the time we got ready had breakfast and played a couple of games it was already 11:00 and Sea World closed at 6:00 so we didn't get to see everything. We did however see the Shamu show, The Shamu Christmas show, the dolphin show and the seal and otter show plus a couple of rides. Also we got free dead fish to feed the stingrays and the dolphins.
On Tuesday we went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, there wasn't very many rides that Kody could ride on so he got a little bored. The 2 water rides that he could of went on it was too cold to get wet. We left a little early so that we could get back to the village because they were having a Christmas night, Santa was there and they gave every kid including the siblings a toy, they had a Christmas Parade, cookie decorating, hot chocolate and horse carriage rides. Kody really enjoyed it so I was glad that we had made it back. On Wednesday we went to Disney Studios (also known as MGM) and also to Epcot. We had lots of fun at Disney Studios but by the time we got to Epcot everyone was getting pretty tired so we ended up just going on a few rides and then went to have dinner at Olive Garden. On Thursday we got up with plans to spend the day at Magic Kingdom but after we got done with breakfast the kids decided they would rather play at the village for a while. They had movies running all day in the theater so we watched The Bee Movie and Kung Fu Panda, they also played miniature golf, went swimming, rode on the train and drove the mini boats. I think the kids were tired of crowds and walking and needed a break from the parks. We had Thanksgiving dinner at the village which definately was not my mom's cooking but it worked and then we went to The Magic Kingdom for the night. By the time we got there it was about 7:30 and it was packed but as the night went it got better. We still didn't wait to get on any rides in fact there was hardly anyone in the regular lines. We stayed until it closed and then did some shopping for souveniers. We couldn't believe that it was our last night, what a wonderful week we had. The kids were awesome and just let Kody have the time of his life. I wish we would have got to sight see a little more but other than that it was great. On Friday we had to be packed up and out of our villa by 11:00 and our flight wasn't until 5:15 so we decided to go and do some Christmas shopping at the factory stores since it was black Friday, we found lots of good deals and had to buy another suit case to get it all home! We asked 2 different people how long it would take to get to the airport from there and they both said 15 min. so we shopped until the very last minute. Well, on our way to the airport we got lost and didn't arrive to turn in our rental car until 1 hour before our flight was to leave, we told the kids to grab their suitcases and run since we still had to get our tickets, check baggage, go through security and get to the other side of the airport. You should of seen it, the 6 of us running through the airport and Kailee saying "don't worry, we will think back to this and laugh!!" Well, we did pretty good and got to security where we got in to the slow line, surprise, surprise!! We all got through (with the exception of me that of course had to be searched because I set off the alarm twice)and we had bought Kody a snow globe with 2008 on it to put in his cancer box, I guess you can't have that in you carry on so that made me go back out and mail it at the Disney store for 9.95, this meant I would have to go through security again so Karl took the kids and headed to the gate. This time when I went through security they searched me even more, how embarassing!! I ran to the tram and headed up to the gate just as they were boarding our plane, we made it!!
